SC Control Privacy Policy

SC Control is a free companion app for compatible SCNK electric-vehicle controllers.

Information we process

• Bluetooth and controller information: the app processes nearby compatible-controller data and visible controller readings or settings on your device to provide connection, monitoring and supported adjustment features.

• Location: when you choose to allow it, the app may use location to provide location-based app features.

• AI assistance: when you choose to use AI assistance, your question and relevant labels or values currently visible in the app may be processed by an AI service to generate a response. Do not enter confidential controller information or sensitive personal information.

• Local app data: preferences and chat history are stored on your device.

How we use information

We use information only to provide the app features you request and keep SC Control operating. SC Control does not contain advertising and does not require an account.

Your choices

You can decline or withdraw Bluetooth and location permissions in your device settings. You can choose not to use AI assistance and can clear local app data through Android settings.

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information while it is processed for the app features you choose. External services that process a chosen request operate under their own privacy terms.
